Intro:
Gambling is probably one of the most attractive things for many people, including myself. Unfortunately though, not everybody can afford a trip to Las Vegas or Monaco, so therefore, often, the only alternative is going to a good VIRTUAL CASINO. Games like this exist for our PDAs as well.
Just for x50v.it users, today, we have the chance to preview this new game, which will be released soon, and which has truly exceptional graphics
The game:
The game’s name is Jackpot Casinò produced by the famous software house Mobile-Stream. The main feature of this game is that it’s been purposely developed to take advantage of our x50v’s Intel 2700 graphic chip.
Even though the version we tested was a Beta, we found no bugs, which suggests that the actual release will be more or less identical to this one. But let us proceed in order… There are four game modes: Roulet, black jack, slot machine and puzzle slot. As we open the game, the first window lets us decide what game mode we want, just as if we were in a real Casino: |
 |
| We’ll start with the Roulet: |
| We can chose what, and how much to gamble. We start with a 500 dollars budget. Let’s bet 50 dollars on black 14 and see what happens: |
| We notice the amazing graphics straight away. A smooth animation shows usa round the table the wheel turning. The sound effects are also very real and effective. After a few seconds, the ball stops showing us the result: |
As odds would command, the number is NOT black 14 and so we’ve lost 50 dollars… virtual ones luckily
Let’s now take a look at the second mode, Black Jack: |
| We chose how much to gamble by dragging the chips on the appropriate area. Let’s stick with $50 and then tap on “Deal”: |
Again, the animation is very well done. Let’s ask for our card with “Hit”: |
Positive choice… we’ve won $50.
Let’s now take a look at “Puzzle slot”: |
| In this mode, depending on the money we gamble we can move the slots with our figures, and win: |
| We then have the last mode, a classic, the slot machine, called “Super Slot”: |
| We place our bet (Maximum $ 10) and select the line amongst the five available ones: |
| We then make the lines spin by tapping Spin All: |
But luck wasn’t on our side again…
In each mode tapping on HELP will shows us the rules and how to play, while tappino on OPTIONS will let us ad just the music and sound effects volume: |
Conclusions:
This is yet another game that takes advantage of the Intel 2700 chip, good news for x50v owners, as we immagine more and more developers will start using this. I must say that although the screenshots do not give it justice, the game is very well made, and animations are perfectly smooth. The game is well developed and 4 modes plus odds will guarantee we won’t get bored of the game… of corse it’s not the same as playing at Bellagio’s… but it will do for us!
Pro: Excellent graphics Good sound effects Plenty to play Good details
Cons: None
Many thanks to mobile-stream for their cooperation and the material provided.
