Many thanks to PdaMill For kindly providing the game. Arvale 2: Ocean of time, is the sequel to Arvale: Journey Of Illusion.
In this adventure we impersonate an adventurer in the style of Indiana Jones, named John DeMenchev. During his studies DeMenchev found that the ancient and misterious population of Mazulen, used to have access to a special power… A power so great, it could change history. John also discovered that one of Mazulen temples, is only a few miles from his own house. Our hero decides to find out what power Mazulen people had, and so he starts his adventure in the Ocean of time… Although unusual and rather surprising Arvale 2 has been improved in terms of graphics. Small details have made the graphic aspect a lot more attractive. However, the biggest improvement is the playability itself. Arbale2 differentely from its predecessor, cannot be defined a real ROLE game, but rather a well-blended cocktail of more games. Arvale II is an action game: In some instances we will have to fight all kinds of monster, and some others, in complicated labyrynths, run away from them avoiding any kind of fight. It's an RPG: a complicated game where you have to speak to characters and solve puzzles and labyrynths. The game has been expanded so that the developers were forced to introduce a new feature: THE MAP It's also a very complicated puzzle game, where, often, we need combine together different elements in order to solve a mistery or continue the game. Software house: PdaMill
Game: Arbale2: Ocean of TimePrice: 19.95$ USD I never really liked sequels, however, I must admit, that Arvale II was a very good job. I believe Arvale II is currently the best game PDAMill has put on the market. IT is truly a well-made game, and in some aspects it reminded me of the first versions of Tomb Raider, but with more enemies. The music is well made too and exciting. This is a good sequel, since, although it keeps the main features of the original game, the implementation of it is a success and manages to create an even more exciting game scenary. Well, it's a must have! I strongly suggest to anyone to try this game, whether you've already tried Arvale I or not... I lost myself for about 1 1/2 hours playing this game.
Pro. Easy to learn . Complex story guarantees many game hours . Good sounds . Good fight animations . Good graphics - The right amount of complexity Cons. It's not possible to select a different character with different characteristics (e.g. wizard, warrior, etc.) | |
