Thanks to Spiral Mile we got the chance to try out this great version of the game that’s driving people mad this summer: SUDOKU.
We tested both version 1.04 and 1.05 which contains some important improvements.

We would like to remind you that the game is available for purchase on our e-store

SUDOKU RULES !

Very popular these days... TV shows, magazines, newspapers and websites talk about it.
It seems that SUDOKU is this summer’s fashion.
Here at x50v.it, instead of laying down on the beach, we’re reviewing it for you.
Many thanks to Spiral Mile for their kind cooperation, as well as clickgamer.

As soon as we launch the game a fascinatine oriental musical theme starts by gettino us in the right mood.
The second window then gives us the game table.
We immediately notice the table is made of 9 cells, each containing a further nine cells.
The rules of the game are rather easy:

-a number in each cell must inserted, but this can’t be present more than one in the bigger cell;
-each number can not be inserted twice in the same row;
-each number can not be inserted twice in the same column.

Very easy...... or so it seems.....

Before we start we have to “create” our game.
We can chose between Easy, Medium or Hard.
Every level of difficulty has 999999 different tables which we can select either manually or randomly tapping on… well… random.
After a quick computation (depending on your PPC CPU and the scheme difficulty) our game is ready.

We can always count on our PPC’s help.
As a matter of fact, tapping HINT will give us a clue on where to place a particular number.
Tapping on CELL HINT will give us a hint on what cell to concentrate on.
With FULL HINT we get a more comprehensive clue...

The interface is extremely simple and provides few options, such as eliminatine the starting music and the sound effects.
At the bottom we can keep an eye on the battery level and the time. At the right top corner we can chose to minimize the game, which was not possible in the previous version.
Underneath the nine cells we can see the level of difficulty.

Conclusion

The implementation of the game is very good.
The graphics and sounds are simple but effective.
Playing SUDOKU with Sudoku Rules is definitely more fun and convenient than playing on paper.

PRO

Good playability

Good interface
