 | Sembra propio che sia giunta l'ora di dire addio al più blasonato GPS chip sul mercato. Sirf ha infatti annunciato la nascita di SirfPrima.
Stante a quanto dichiarato il nuovo chip, oltre ad essere più performante del Sirf III, sembra in grado di garantire:

- la compatibilità con Galileo
- l'Istant Fix II
- la possibilità di utilizzare indifferentemente sia linux che windows
La piattaforma sirfPrima, inoltre, integrerà un acceleratore 3D ed un processore multifunzione ARM11 e supporterà OpenGL ES, Direct3DM and OpenVG
