We have also the chance to choose the destination address from our contact list
Once defined where to go, I set my destination, in this case Amsterdam... the path will be calculated and shown.
It is important to notice a new important feature, we have the chance to set a fixed arrival time to reach a certain destination.
Weather tool and TomTom Plus functionalities are very useful, we have in fact the chance of preview weather and traffic conditions in our target town, simply through a Wi-fi connection. Using the usual internet connection I was able to check actual weather condition and traffic status for starting and arrival points.
Another new feature added is “TomTom Friends”, an Instant Messaging tool which allows us to keep in touch with our contacts and to know where a predefined group of people is.
Other positive aspects for navigation are represented by the default installation of Radar positioning and realistic representation of road signs.
In order to make driving safer, a new option called “Security screen block” has been introduced, this feature deactivate a number of menu functions before starting drivin
Again among security side functionalities, we can receive SMS and phone call directly on the screen with no need of quitting navigation.
